At the Kimo School Museum, you'll discover the local area's educational history in an old classroom filled with school charts, books, and black-and-white photos. The museum also shares stories about the many ways the school building has been used over the years.

Welcome to the opening of an exhibition featuring a selection of images and texts from journalist Pelle Kevin’s life’s work, showcasing stories about life in the Finland-Swedish coastal communities and the world from the 1950s to today. His mother, Elsa Holmström, was one of many daughters of Alfred Holmström at the Kimo ironworks. 
The exhibition also includes several original drawings he created as commissioned illustrations for Ragnar Finnäs, author of the book "Åhrsens fyra tijder med gamle Jon och hans vänner," which was published in 1966. 
Much like the main character of the book, Pelle’s father also considered animals his friends and often enjoyed drawing them, as well as people and landscapes. Most of these drawings were created as illustrations for various purposes. 
The exhibition is open to the public until August 31.

In the heart of the historic “Rågens rike”, on a 2000 m² rye field at Abramsgården in Andkil, artist duo Scheibe & Güntzel invite you to a unique art experience. Through a site-specific installation and a participatory photo event, they highlight the disappearance of traditional rye fields – and their role as hideaways and meeting spots for loved ones. Hovering above the field is a slowly rotating, glowing red heart. For three days, a bench will be placed beneath the heart, where visitors can sit – alone or together. The artists will photograph these encounters, print the images on-site, and give them to participants as a memory of the summer, the field, and the moment. Organizer: Abramsgården

At Rökiö Mill, you can explore a new section of the photo exhibition featuring Erik Hägglund’s early 1900s photographs, visit the farmhouse museum, and take a guided tour of the 102-year-old mill. You can also try your hand at pétanque and enjoy refreshments in Kvarnstugan. 
At Myrbergsgården, you’ll find impressive textile collections, Vörå quilts, and folk art artifacts, while in the smithy, Niklas Svevar demonstrates traditional blacksmithing.

You can try out international senior dance, meet fitness advisor Lena, get to know the library’s and MI’s activities, and receive tips from senior counseling, among other things.
From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, The Old Fartz will invite you to dance in the Pavilion with live music—and the kiosk will be open all afternoon. Organized by the Quality of Life Sector in cooperation with Rejpelt hembygdsförening.

In the heart of the historic “Rågens rike”, on a 2000 m² rye field at Abramsgården in Andkil, artist duo Scheibe & Güntzel invite you to a unique art experience. Through a site-specific installation and a participatory photo event, they highlight the disappearance of traditional rye fields – and their role as hideaways and meeting spots for loved ones. Hovering above the field is a slowly rotating, glowing red heart. For three days, a bench will be placed beneath the heart, where visitors can sit – alone or together. The artists will photograph these encounters, print the images on-site, and give them to participants as a memory of the summer, the field, and the moment. Organizer: Abramsgården
