Children's and young people's rights

In Vörå, following the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we uphold children's and young people's rights. These rights are documented in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which applies to all children and young people up to the age of 18.

Children's rights include, among other things, that:
- You have the right to be yourself and you are just as valuable as everyone else.
- You have the right to feel well and have a good life.
- You have the right to live and develop at your own pace.
- You have the right to care and nurturing.
- You have the right to feel safe. No one is allowed to be violent toward you.
- You have the right to express your views and thoughts.
- You have the right to access information.
- You have the right to learn and attend school.
- You have the right to play, take breaks, and rest.
- You have the right to be part of adult decision-making processes that pertain to you as a child.
