The municipality maintains 15 kilometers of planned roads.

The municipality’s building and environmental committee handles matters such as establishing road associations and similar activities. The committee also mediates in disputes between road stakeholders.

A road association is a road for which the stakeholders have formed an association at the official process, and it is registered with the land survey office.

A road association can enter into an agreement to transfer maintenance to the municipality, which will then handle all practical maintenance work on the road. The road association covers twenty percent of the costs, which are offset against the tasks performed by the manager and snow clearing.

Road associations can manage their own maintenance and apply annually for grants from the municipality. Apply by September 15. Info and application form.

Snow plowing is performed on all private roads with permanent residents. In addition, all private driveways longer than 100 meters are plowed for a fee of 101.22 euros per driveway (including VAT). 

Street lighting is expanded by separate decision. The municipality maintains the streetlights by carrying out repairs and replacing bulbs annually.
