Liljekonvaljen

Liljekonvaljen is the largest daycare center in the center of Vörå. The daycare also houses Vörå center’s preschool, with several preschool groups.

Close to the daycare, there are both ski trails and a great sledding hill. In addition, the daycare is near a sports field, a forest, and the school area, where the groups often use the school’s gymnasium and ice skating rink.

The daycare has five departments. Skogsviolen, Blåklockan, and Skogsstjärnan are located at the daycare’s main address. The Blåklinten and Skogstrollen departments are located in Läkargården. Preschool activities are provided in the Blåklockan and Skogsviolen groups. The daycare also has an outdoor education group, Skogstrollen, for children ages 4-5.

During the 2024-2025 school year, the Skogsstjärnan and Blåklinten departments worked with a bilingual program as decided by the board. This means that children in those groups participated in early childhood education in both Finnish and Swedish.

During the spring term of 2025-2026, Regnbågen’s daycare will have two departments within Liljekonvaljen’s facilities.
