The island of Kummelskär in the Mickelsörarna archipelago is in Vörå’s side of the Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site and is located in the outer archipelago where sea, nature and peace meet. Kummelskär offers nature trails to trek, access to the old coast guard station’s observation tower along with unique island surroundings.

The boat trip aboard M/S Filifjonkan passes through shallow straits and open sea – an experience in and of itself and a perfect day trip for nature and sea lovers.

🗺️ A guided tour is organized on July 1 where you can learn more about the nature and the history of the area.

Traditional salmon soup, coffee and home-baked pastries are for sale at Kummelskär and those looking for a swim can take a dip in the sea.

Departure at 10:00 (from Stråkaviken or Abborrgrund).

In Kummelskär from 12:45 to 14:15.

Return trip at 14:15, arrival at approximately 17:00.
