Participatory budgeting 2026

Participatory budgeting gives you, as a local resident, a direct opportunity to influence your daily life and your municipality. What do you think we could improve this year? In 2025 the participatory budgeting funds were used to fund new benches to the libraries.

Now is your chance to make proposals! You can submit your proposals electronically at www.vora.fi/invanarbudget or on the form available in our libraries and in the mobile library.
It is required that the proposal fits within the budget (6 000 €), the municipality owns land suitable for the purpose and there are sufficient staff resources for future maintenance. The proposal is not taken into account if the following proposal is already included in the municipality’s operational plan.

Once we have received the proposals, we will review which of them meet the criteria. Then ten proposals will proceed to the residents’ vote.
