Exhibition: Paul Hägglund – A Painted Cultural Heritage

June 3 – July 31, 2025 at the Gallery in Norrvalla

Welcome to a summer exhibition featuring paintings by Paul Hägglund. The works depict various professions and ways of working, life at home and on the farm, traditions, and celebrations. The focus is on the period when most things were still done by hand – the 1940s and 1950s – but later years are also represented.

The exhibition includes, among other things, Hägglund’s first painting, Segelbåt from 1949, and his final work, Rexgården i Rökiö, painted in 2023.

The paintings on display are part of the art collection that Paul Hägglund donated to the municipality of Vörå.
