Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the Vörå municipality service at https://www.vora.fi/. The statement was created on April 5, 2024. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires public web services to be accessible.

The accessibility of the service has been assessed by the external expert organization Newelo Oy.

Non-accessible Content

The municipality’s web pages fully meet accessibility requirements, but there are certain shortcomings in third-party systems within the service. Efforts are being made to resolve these issues in cooperation with our partners as soon as possible.

Non-accessible content and corresponding WCAG 2.1 criteria that are not yet met:

-        The Tillamisu service on the pages does not meet accessibility requirements in several ways: alternative text, contrast, keyboard navigation, and deficiencies in data structure (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 1.4.3, 2.1.1, 2.4.6, 3.1.1, and 3.3.2)

-        The map (vora.virhi.fi/map) is not accessible via keyboard (WCAG 2.1.1)
